DHI - (Direct Hair Implant) Hair Transplant

DHI - Direct Hair Implant is also known as CHOI, Implanter pen technique among the public. This is because, as the name suggests, the device looks like a pen.

Why Hair Transplant with DHI Technique?

One of the features of this technique is that with the classical FUE method, the channel (holes) where the grafts taken from the donor area will be placed are opened in hair transplantation, and the grafts were exposed for a minimum of 2 hours during this process, and the quality of life decreased.

In the DHI technique, grafts taken from the donor area are placed one by one into the medical pen without waiting and without weakening the quality of life, and the grafts are transplanted with the help of the plunger in the medical pen without opening the channel (holes) to the area where hair transplant is planned according to the direction and angle of the patient's existing hair.

How is DHI Hair Transplantation Applied?

Hair follicles taken from the donor area with the FUE device are placed into the special needles of 0.74 mm - 1.14 mm in the pen with a forceps after the graft structure and size are determined.

Then, with the help of the piston at the top of the pen, the graft is placed in the empty area by making it back and forth with the help of the piston at the top of the pen by reaching the empty area of the head at a 45 degree angle.

Advantages of DHI Hair Transplant

* Here it is aimed to shorten the time of the operation
* since the contact of the grafts with air is short, the life quality of the grafts is at the maximum level.
* Since there is no channel opening process, there is no hair transplant scar,  almost no bleeding and the scab period is shorter.
* DHI technique provides a more dense and natural look.
